Dinner to celebrate Tsiknopempti

Under the initiative of HE the Ambassador of Greece to Ireland Ms Diana Zagorianou-Prifti, we are delighted to invite you at a dinner gathering organised by the Hellenic Community for the celebration of Tsiknopempti (Analogous to Ash Wednesday in Greek Orthodox tradition). The dinner will take place on Saturday 26 February at 7 pm in the Tenors Grill Room in Donnybrook (http://www.tenorsgrillroom.ie/contact_us_2.html). The menu will include three courses and will cost 20 Euro with complementary coffee. There will also be the choice of stake for an additional 5 Euro. Drinks will be charged separately. All members  of the Hellenic Community are invited to attend as well as the colleagues from the Greek and the Cypriot Embassy.
As we need to provide a precise number of guests to the restaurant a few days in advance, we kindly request that anyone who wishes to attend to contact the symposium organisers Mr Vaios Manolis (0876603500 manolisvaios@gmail.com) and Ms Maria Gioni (0863375399 mgioni@revenue.ie) by February 24th the latest.

Greek music on Dublin South FM

Participation of the Past President of the Hellenic Community of Ireland Dr. Thomais Kakouli, in the music show of Mr Harry O’Rahilly “One World Show” in Dublin South FM 93.9 on 16 November 2009. Dr. Kakouli had the opportunity to discuss about the Greek musical tradition and the Hellenic Community of Ireland.
