Dimitri Papadimitriou Piano Recital

Dimitri Papadimitriou
Piano Recital
NCH, Monday 19th March, 8pm

Greek pianist Dimitri Papadimitriou has been praised for his unique artistry from both the press and the prestigious teachers with whom he has interacted. He has already appeared several times with the Greek National Radio Symphony Orchestra, with the most recent collaboration being his Live Radio debut. He just performed Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto with the Athens State Orchestra in the Athens Megaron Concert Hall, after winning last’s year national concerto competition.

After last year’s Liszt Recital in the John Field Room, Dimitri Papadimitriou is returning to perform Mozart’s elegant piano sonata in C major, one of Brahms’ finest late works and an exciting combination of Russian repertoire, including Prokofiev’s exhilarating 7th Sonata.

Programme
Mozart Piano Sonata in C major K.330
Brahms Klavierstücke op.118
Shostakovich Prelude and Fugue in D minor
Tchaikovsky Dumka
Prokofiev Piano Sonata No.7
