Το 5^o Φεστιβάλ της Ελληνικής Κοινότητας Ιρλανδίας θα πραγματοποιηθεί διαδικτυακά λόγω των περιοριστικών μέτρων.  
Το Φεστιβάλ θα παρουσιάσει ένα ευρύ φάσμα δραστηριοτήτων που συνδέονται κατά οποιονδήποτε τρόπο με την Ελλάδα, Κύπρο και Ιρλανδία. Θα διεξαχθεί με υβριδικό τρόπο το Σαββατοκύριακο 10 & 11 Απριλίου, από 19:30  έως 21:00 μέσα από την ιστοσελίδα και τo facebook της κοινότητας. 
 
Ιδιαίτερη τιμή αποτελεί η παρουσίαση του Φεστιβάλ από την κα Τίνα Κουμαριανός.

The Hellenic Community of Ireland is organising an online event to mark the resistance of Greece to the Italian forces on 28th October 1940. 

The Greek poet and academic Dr Natasha Remoundou will read pieces from Nikos-Gavriil Pentzikis, Primo Levi and Hannah Ardent about that period.

• Historian Mr Fergus D’Arcy will answer questions about the 2nd world war in Ireland,
• The president of the anti war movement in Ireland Mr Michalis Youlton will explain the influence of that movement at that time,
• Scholar and ex-diplomat Mr Paddy Sammon will tell us about Irish neutrality.
• Mr Pantelis Goularas who is the Irish representative of the Irish branch of the International Society of Friends Nikos Kazantzakis will talk to us about Nikos Kazantzakis at that time.
• Mr. David Howley will read poetry by Odysseas Elytis.The event will be live broadcasted be on 28th October 2020 at 7:30 pm.

Το Ελληνικό Κτηματολόγιο ενημερώνει όσες και όσους είναι κάτοχοι ακίνητης ιδιοκτησίας στο Δήμο της Αθήνας και σε περιοχές των Περιφερειακών Ενοτήτων Κιλκίς, Εύβοιας, Βοιωτίας, Κορινθίας, Κοζάνης, Πιερίας, Λάρισας και Ημαθίας, πως ήδη έχει ξεκινήσει η Ανάρτηση κτηματολογικών στοιχείων (στην Ημαθία από 22/7).

Η διαδικασία της Ανάρτησης έχει διάρκεια δύο μηνών για τους κατοίκους εσωτερικού και τέσσερις για όσους μένουν στο εξωτερικό και πραγματοποιείται, για πρώτη φορά, πλήρως ψηφιακά, χωρίς την υποχρέωση του πολίτη για αυτοπρόσωπη παρουσία στα γραφεία Κτηματογράφησης.

Οι ιδιοκτήτες, αφού επικαιροποιήσουν τα στοιχεία επικοινωνίας τους, στην ιστοσελίδα www.ktimatologio.gr, μπορούν να ελέγξουν και να επιβεβαιώσουν ή να διορθώσουν την καταγραφή της ιδιοκτησίας τους, αποφεύγοντας έτσι δικαστικές επιλύσεις που κοστίζουν σε χρόνο, χρήμα και ταλαιπωρία.

Συγκεκριμένα θα πρέπει να δουν και να ελέγξουν: 

• Την  περιγραφή και τη νομική πληροφορία των ακινήτων τους (Κτηματολογικός Πίνακας) 

• Τα όρια των γεωτεμαχίων τους (Κτηματολογικό Διάγραμμα)

Εάν συμφωνούν με τα στοιχεία της Ανάρτησης, δεν χρειάζεται να προβούν σε άλλη ενέργεια.

Εάν δεν συμφωνούν με κάποια από τα στοιχεία, μπορούν να υποβάλλουν αίτηση διόρθωσης (μέχρι την αντίστοιχη ημερομηνία λήξης), ηλεκτρονικά στο www.ktimatologio.gr ή στο γραφείο κτηματογράφησης, κατόπιν ραντεβού.

Σε περίπτωση που δεν έχουν δηλώσει στο Κτηματολόγιο την ακίνητη περιουσία τους, έχουν ακόμα περιθώριο να το κάνουν ψηφιακά στο www.ktimatologio.gr ή στο γραφείο κτηματογράφησης κατόπιν ραντεβού.

We are happy to announce that the majority of our activities will take place in our new premises 19 Belvedere Place, Dublin 1. We would like to thank all of you and our partners that have supported us along the way so far.

The classes of our school will begin in week starting on Monday 6/1/2020 at our new premises 19 Belvedere Place, Dublin 1.

Our Greek Business and Arts Festival will take place on 23rd February 2020 at the beautiful space of CHQ in collaboration with the EPIC museum, the magnificent museum of Irish Diaspora. We invite you to come and meet the Greeks in Diaspora! More information will follow soon.

The cutting of our Vasilopita will take place during the Greek Festival, on 23rd February.

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the peacefully passing of Professor Frixos Joannides on Saturday 25th May. at Belmont Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Peggy and much loved father of Michael, Markos and Kimon; sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law Yvonne, Jen and Linda, grandchildren Emma, Ella, Luke, Jessica and Danny. We want to express our condolences to his family.

Frixos Joannides’ funeral will take place on Wednesday, May 29 2019, at 11:30 am in the RC Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour (Foxrcok Church), Stillorgan Road, Foxrock, D18, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, South Co.Dublin.

Professor Frixos Joannidis originally from Cyprus, was one of the first Greeks to have settled on the island. In Ireland he worked as a professor of engineering at University College Dublin and took over duties as the Consul of Cyprus until the establishment of the Cypriot Embassy in Dublin. He had been one of the founders of Irish-Hellenic Society (1962) Hellenic Community οf Ireland (1964), Greek Orthodox Community (80s) and the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Dublin (1994). At the same time, he was the first Modern Greek language teacher to Greek children before the establishment of the Greek School of Ireland (2003).
